At the beginning of May, our Student Council kids decided to use some of their fundraiser money to donate $500 to St Mary Foundation. Susana Vasquez from St Mary Medical Center came by today to pick up the check. Their money will be used to help women and children at their hospital. Great job, Cougars!

Our Student Council was able to meet the mayor this morning to take a picture for their $500 Animal Shelter donation. These awesome leaders chose to donate their proceeds from winter and valentine grams and the family dance to some awesome organizations. Way to go Cougars!

Cougar Families- Our Quarter 4 Top Cat event is quickly approaching! To qualify: ZERO truancies/unexcused absences, No more than 3 total tardies/early outs, No Ds/Fs, No major referrals, no more than 3 minor referrals. The last day to excuse absences for this event is this Wednesday, May 21st. We look forward to celebrating with all our Top Cat Kiddos! -Ms. Chavez

Mrs. Wickline and Mrs. DeVore's 5th graders have taken on leadership roles in the cafeteria and we love it! They support their peers with cleanup management and keeping our restrooms from becoming overcrowded. What an afternoon/evening!! Our girls basketball team took the win over Joshua Circle, followed by the Strings Music Performance at Oak Hills High School that four of our Cougars brought their musical talents to, and wrapped up by a super tense boys basketball game against the Topaz Tigers!
